Meet Our Fluffy Family
At Koolah Creek Highlands, we aspire to breed & sell the finest purebred Scottish Highland Cattle in Australia. We place a strong emphasis on exceptional temperaments and sound structure in our stud breeding program. Our cattle are born and bred on our small family farm on the NSW Mid North Coast, and well adapted to our warm climate.
We are members of the Australian Highland Cattle Society (AHCS), and we adhere to rigorous standards to ensure the quality of our animals. Our specialisation lies in producing quiet, calm, and friendly pets, along with offering premium stud cattle for the show ring. Our Highland's pedigrees include bloodlines from esteemed Australian breeders such as Bairnsley, Ennerdale, Durness, Ardvorlich, Bultarra & Seacrest, as well as traditional Scottish folds like Cullerne, Pollok, Douneside, Pennygown & Cladich.
Calves Due Winter 2024
All our Highland calves have extensive handling and are halter trained before leaving for their new homes - they are friendly with people, love hand fed treats, and adore pats & brushes. Our calves come gently weaned, fully vaccinated, drenched, and have full health records. They also come with a halter + lead, brush, and printed baby diary.

Would you like to meet our friendly Highland cows?
The Koolah Creek Highland Cattle Experience is designed to offer a truly unique & immersive farm experience. During the Experience, you'll have the opportunity to pat, brush and cuddle with friendly Highland cows, hand-feed them treats, learn about their care, and meet the adorable baby calves.
The Experience is offered as a private session only to ensure it is personal and intimate. As your hosts guide you through the picturesque farm, you’ll witness their special connection with each of the animals.
Koolah Creek also offers photography sessions with the Highlands. More than simply a photoshoot, this is an unforgettable experience with every special moment captured by talented professional photographers!
