Mini Photo Sessions.

These Mini Sessions are short, sweet, and oh-so-adorable!
Mini Photo Sessions run on selected dates throughout the year for special occasions.
Mini Photo Sessions can be booked as a package with The Highland Cattle Experience on most other weekends.

2025 Dates:
Valentine’s Day Minis - Saturday 15th of February 2025
Mother’s Day Minis - Saturday 5th of April (am), Saturday 26th of April (pm), Saturday 10th of May (pm)
Christmas Minis - (to be confirmed)

This is your chance to get up close & personal with an adorable Highland cow, with every special moment of the unforgettable experience captured by professional photographers! You’ll have the opportunity to feed, brush, pat and cuddle a Highland cow, and LySar Photography will capture posed & candid photos during your shoot.

Bookings include an optional complimentary printable PDF Gift Certificate to gift to your special someone - Highland Cow themed of course!

Images will be provided by LySar Photography in an online gallery. From the gallery, you can select your images for high-resolution download, and printing. Additional digital downloads and prints from your photoshoot can be purchased from LySar Photography.

Please note these special packages are for a Mini Photo Shoot only, and include time with one of our Highland calves. The Highland Cattle Experience tour is not included.
Sessions will be located away from the rest of our Highlands, other than the cattle participating in the photoshoots.

  • A 15 minute session with an adorable young Highland cow. This short and sweet session includes both posed & candid photos, and the opportunity to feed, brush & cuddle during the shoot.

    Up to 15 minutes of photography by LySar Photography
    5 digital images - edited, high resolution digital downloads
    1 - 10x8" matte print

    1 family per session (up to 6 people)

    Price: $360 - including the nonrefundable booking fee of $200.

  • A 30 minute session with an adorable young Highland cow. This longer session is perfect for larger families or those wanting more quality time to enjoy befriending an adorable Highland calf! This session also includes both posed & candid photos, and the opportunity to feed, brush & cuddle during the shoot.

    Photo Package:
    Up to 30 minutes of photography by LySar Photography. This longer mini session will include more candid images.
    7 digital images - edited, high resolution digital downloads
    1 - 10x8" matte print

    Limit of one family per session (up to 8 guests).

    Price: $490 - including the nonrefundable booking fee of $250.
