Christmas photos you’ll actually want to keep - create Christmas photos that are a little more memorable than the usual family portrait!

Spend time feeding, brushing and cuddling one of our adorable young Highlands while LySar Photography captures a beautiful mix of posed family portraits and natural candid moments.

Your Christmas Mini includes:

    Your session is designed to capture both the beautiful family portrait and everything that happens in between - little hands brushing fluffy hair, feeding the coo, cuddles, laughs and those natural moments you couldn’t pose if you tried.

    You get the fun of meeting one of our Highlands and beautiful professional photographs to keep long after Christmas is over.

  • LySar Photography will deliver your professionally edited images through a private online gallery before Christmas.

    Your package includes 5 high-resolution digital downloads.

    Additional digital images and professional print products can also be purchased directly through LySar Photography after your gallery is delivered.

    If ordering physical prints for Christmas, we recommend ordering promptly once your gallery arrives, as printing and postage timeframes are outside our control.

    Our full experiences give you much more time on the farm, the opportunity to meet more of our herd and enjoy the complete Koolah Creek experience.

    Our main photography packages combine that core experience and all the quality time with the coos with professional photography.

  • Your private 15-minute session takes place with one of our selected Highlands and LySar Photography.

    You’ll have the opportunity to feed, brush, pat and cuddle the coo while your photographer captures both posed portraits and natural interaction.

    Sessions are short and carefully scheduled so there is plenty happening within your photography time without feeling like a traditional posed studio shoot.

    Full arrival instructions, guest requirements and booking terms are provided during the booking process and in your confirmation email.

  • Koolah Creek offers selected Mini Photo Sessions for special occasions throughout the year, as well as photography packages combined with our full Highland Cattle Experience.

Terms & Conditions - Mini Photo Sessions 2026

2026 CHRISTMAS MINI PHOTO SESSION CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Christmas Mini Photo Sessions are limited, seasonal sessions operating to a strict schedule. Your selected date and time are reserved specifically for you once booked.

All bookings are final. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Christmas Mini Photo Session bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, transferred to another date, or moved to another time.

Please check your availability carefully before booking. We are unable to accommodate requests to change session dates or times after a booking has been made.

CANCELLATIONS
All bookings are final. If you are unable to attend your booked session, no refund, credit or alternative session is available.

LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS
Our Christmas Mini Sessions run to a strict schedule and are generally booked back-to-back. We cannot extend your allocated session time if you arrive late.

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Your session will still finish at its originally scheduled end time and may therefore be shortened.

Arriving more than 5 minutes late without contacting us, or failing to attend your session, will be considered a no-show. No refund, credit or replacement session will be provided.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS BY KOOLAH CREEK HIGHLANDS
Koolah Creek Highlands may need to alter, postpone or cancel a session due to weather, animal welfare considerations, safety concerns or other circumstances outside your control.

If this occurs, we will contact affected clients directly and advise the options available.

Any exception to this policy is entirely at the discretion of Koolah Creek Highlands.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Important Information


RISK WARNING
- Entering the farm and participating in activities including interacting with livestock is inherently risky - entry and participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk. All guests are required to sign a waiver of liability form before participating.
- Our cattle are very placid, but they are living animals, and like any animal they may behave unpredictably. They weigh hundreds of kilograms and they also possess horns.
- Koolah Creek is a working farm. There are electric fences, steep and uneven ground, grass, maybe mud, and cow manure.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Attendance is limited to the guests included in your booking. Every person entering the property counts as a guest, regardless of age or whether they intend to participate in the photography session. Additional guests or spectators who are not included in the booking are not permitted. Christmas Mini Sessions are limited to a maximum of 9 guests and one family group per booking.

Sturdy enclosed footwear is compulsory for every guest. Guests arriving without suitable enclosed footwear will not be permitted to participate and the session will be forfeited.

Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult in their group at all times. Parents, guardians and accompanying adults are responsible for managing the behaviour of children in their group and ensuring they follow all directions given by Koolah Creek Highlands staff.

For children aged 6–12 years, we require at least one responsible adult per three children. For children aged 5 years and under, we require one responsible adult per child.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to our property or terminate a session where a guest fails to follow our instructions, behaves inappropriately, creates a safety or animal-welfare concern, or otherwise breaches these conditions.

Koolah Creek Highlands is both a working farm and our home. Please respect all signs, gates, boundaries and areas identified as off-limits during your visit.


BOOKING COMMUNICATIONS
By completing your booking, you agree to read your booking confirmation email and pre-visit information in full. Important information regarding your arrival, clothing, footwear, safety requirements and session will be provided in these communications.

We may contact you regarding your booking by email, telephone or SMS using the contact details supplied at the time of booking.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
