I Do with the Coos

An intimate elopement ceremony on our secluded Highland Cattle farm.
Sweet & simple - perfect for legals only!

1 hour onsite package (circa 30 minute ceremony & 30 minutes for photos)

Inclusions:

  • Exclusive location hire for 1 hour

  • Up to 7 pax total including the bridal couple, celebrant, photographer and / or videographer, and up to two guest witnesses.

    • A true elopement - no guests permitted other than witnesses.

    • Your photographer and host from Koolah Creek can act as witnesses (we can provide a second witness if needed).

    • Seating provided, or bring your own.

  • Photoshoot with the Highland Cows for the bridal couple at various locations on the property, accompanied by a host from Koolah Creek

You supply:

  • Your celebrant

  • Your photographer

  • Any extras like signing table, arbour, other seating, styling, florals if desired, etc - you set up, pack down and take with you at the conclusion of your session

  • $550 (Saturday and Sunday)

    $450 (Wednesday-Friday)

  • Fine print:

    Everyone including the bridal couple and photographer must wear sturdy enclosed shoes whilst inside the paddock with the cows.

    If cows are in the ceremony we ask that everyone wears sturdy enclosed shoes for safety.

    Full payment is required to reserve your date and time.

    • Additional photoshoot time on the property - $300 per 30 minutes

    • Highland calf on lead for the ceremony, washed and blow-dried for maximum fluffiness - $150 per animal for 30 minutes

Vows & Cows

An intimate elopement ceremony on our secluded Highland Cattle farm.

  • Exclusive location hire for 2 hours

  • Up to 10 pax total including the bridal couple, celebrant, photographers and / or videographers, and guest witnesses.

    • Up to 10 additional guests permitted for an additional fee.

    • Seating provided, or bring your own.

  • Photoshoot with the Highland Cows for the bridal couple at various locations on the property, accompanied by a host from Koolah Creek

You supply:

    Pricing includes a complimentary 1.5 hour visit to disover all that Koolah Creek has to offer. This visit is is an unforgettable experience in its own right, valued at $300. The cost of your site visit will be deducted from the total cost of the Vows & Cows Package upon booking your elopement.

  • Fine print:

    Small numbers of people work best for photos in the paddock with our cows, so we recommend this keeping to just the bridal couple, to ensure you get the best photos. Chat to us if you would like extra guests included in your photo session.

    This package includes entry to the property for up to 10 pax (bridal couple, witnesses, celebrant, photographer and / or videographer). Additional guests are permitted for an additional fee (see ‘Optional Extras’ below). There is a strict limit of 10 additional guests for a maximum group size of 20 pax. This includes the bridal couple, witnesses, photographer, celebrant and guests. Any additional person that enters the property will be charged at $500 per person.

    A $500 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your date and time. Full payment is required 30 days in advance of your elopment, and can be paid in instalments prior to this if preferred.

    • Additional photoshoot time on the property - $300 per 30 minutes

    • Highland calf on lead for the ceremony, washed and blow-dried for maximum fluffiness - $150 per animal for 30 minutes

    • Add up to 5 extra ceremony guests: $350

    • Add up to 10 extra ceremony guests: $650

    • Strict limit of 10 extra guests - Maximum group size of 20 which includes every person in your group. Any additional pax will be charged at $500 per person.

  • Koolah Creek Highlands is a boutique Highland Cattle stud. We are registered breeders of some of the finest pedigree Highlands in Australia.

    Our breeding program includes many show champions, carefully selected for their gentle temperaments and traditional Highland breed character. Our Highlands are some of the friendliest and most gentle cattle you will ever find!

    Our Highlands are bred and raised with their welfare as our first priority. We are committed to providing all our cattle with the very best care.

    Koolah Creek is nestled at the foot of the Lansdowne Escarpment. We have various locations for your ceremony and photos, including lush pastures, pristine old-growth Eucalypt forests, the rustic dairy parlour and an ancient fig tree.

  • Koolah Creek is located between Taree & Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia - just 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway. It is an easy two hour drive from Newcastle, and three hours from the northern side of Sydney.

    We are also near other popular destinations on the Barrington Coast, such as Forster, Gloucester, Barrington Tops, & Seal Rocks.

  • At Koolah Creek, we specialize in creating unforgettable, intimate wedding experiences. We adore hosting elopements and small ceremonies with a maximum guest count of 20, allowing you to celebrate your love in a beautifully natural, rural farm setting.

    While our property is perfect for these smaller gatherings, we don't offer receptions or accommodate larger wedding parties.
